01How much do I have to type in to get started?

You choose which folders CutVault looks at, and that is the setup. Previews come from your supported files and cut settings come from your LightBurn and xTool projects. Tags, categories and notes are yours to add when they are useful.

02Does CutVault move or rename my original files?

No. Original files are never moved, modified or deleted. They stay where they are, and you keep opening them the way you do now.

03Does it need an internet connection or an account?

No. CutVault works entirely offline. There is no cloud, no account and no subscription.

04Which file locations can I use?

Local drives, external drives, and the sync folders Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive create on your computer.

05Which formats does CutVault support?

LightBurn .lbrn and .lbrn2, xTool Creative Space .xcs, xTool Studio .xs, SVG, DXF, ZIP archives and image assets. Previews and settings vary by format: SVG, DXF and images carry no cut settings.

06Will it cope with the size of my library?

CutVault has run on libraries of 81,000 files.

07What do I need to start the trial?

The free trial lasts seven days and does not require a credit card. CutVault runs on macOS 10.15 or later and Windows 10 or 11.
