01Does CutVault unzip my downloads on its own?
Never. You choose when to extract, and whether to extract everything or only the files you ticked.
02Where do extracted files go?
Into a new folder next to the ZIP. Extracted designs then appear in your library on their own.
03Will it overwrite files I already have?
No. If a file is already there, CutVault asks before replacing it, and your existing files stay as they are unless you choose otherwise.
04Can I search for a design inside a ZIP from All Files?
Files inside a ZIP are not in All Files until you extract them. Inside a ZIP you search by file and folder name.
05Does it open RAR or 7z files?
No. ZIP only.
06Can I open a design straight from inside the ZIP?
You can preview it inside the ZIP. To open it in LightBurn, xTool software or another app, extract it first.
07Do settings show for a LightBurn file inside a ZIP?
You get the preview inside the ZIP. Settings show once the file is extracted into your library.
08Is Zip Files sold separately?
