Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
CutVault is a product of Rite Side Digital Marketing Agency LLC (“CutVault,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Texas limited liability company.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when information may be shared with service providers, and the choices and rights available to you.
This Policy applies to the CutVault desktop application, CutVault websites, trial and purchase flows, support communications, connected features, and related services.
1. Your Local Files and Creative Content
CutVault is a desktop application designed so that your original creative files can remain in the storage locations you choose.
CutVault does not require you to upload your design library to CutVault servers in order to organize and use the desktop application.
Your original files may remain on your computer, external drives, locally synchronized folders, or other storage locations you choose to use with CutVault.
As part of normal application usage, CutVault does not upload or store the contents of your original design files, artwork, project files, or finished-work photos merely because those files are part of your CutVault library.
Certain connected features may transmit information when you intentionally choose to use those features. Information that you deliberately submit through an online feature or provide to us for customer support is not considered exclusively local information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect limited information necessary to operate CutVault, process purchases and trials, manage licenses, provide online features, support customers, maintain and improve the software, prevent abuse, and understand how our websites and services are performing.

- Information necessary to issue, activate, and manage the trial
We may use this information to issue your trial, deliver your trial key, provide onboarding or support communications, prevent repeated or abusive trial requests, and communicate with you about CutVault.

CutVault may collect information necessary to activate and validate licenses, including:
- License key
- Activation status
- Tier or license type
- Machine or device identifier
- App version

Application Usage and Diagnostic Information
CutVault may collect limited application information necessary to operate, support, improve, and maintain the software.
This may include information such as:
- App version
- Operating system or platform
- Feature or event information, such as when a search is run, a view is opened, a tag is added or a preset is created
- The name of the app a file was opened with
- Session length and setup progress
- Library-size counts, such as the number of files, PNG files, folders, presets, tags and finished photos
- The names of the laser machines you add in CutVault
- License and activation information
- Limited diagnostic or reliability information, such as how long a library scan took
We may use this information to maintain licensing, troubleshoot problems, understand application reliability and feature usage, improve CutVault, and provide customer support.
Application usage information does not include file names, folder paths, search terms, or the contents of your original design files, artwork, project files, or finished-work photos unless you intentionally provide that information through a feature that requires it or send it to us for support.
Usage sharing is on by default. You can turn it off at any time in CutVault under Settings → Privacy (“Help improve CutVault”). While it is off, CutVault does not record or send usage events or library-size counts. License validation and the connected features you choose to use still connect as described in this Policy.
Email and Communications
If you request a trial, make a purchase, join a waitlist, subscribe to updates, or contact us for support, we may store information such as your name, email address, and communication history.
We may use this information for transactional messages, product information, onboarding, support, and marketing communications where permitted.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe link included in applicable emails.

Most of the CutVault desktop application can continue to work locally between required online check-ins. Features that retrieve or synchronize online information require an internet connection while those features are being used.
6. Community Presets and Connected Features
Certain CutVault features use an internet connection to retrieve, submit, or synchronize information.

Information that you intentionally submit to an online or community feature is transmitted as necessary to provide that feature.
Community and connected features are separate from the local storage of your original design library.
7. Optional Third-Party Integrations
CutVault may offer optional integrations with third-party services.
If you choose to connect or use a third-party integration, CutVault may exchange the information necessary to provide the feature you requested.
The information exchanged depends on the third-party service and the feature you choose to use.
